Yesterday match against Woodlands Ring Secondary School was cancelled, due to the rainy weather. So we had a talk in the meeting room, disciplinary talk I should say. Its' about the attendance of number of people coming to training. I admit I was one of them, slacking and skipping training all the time. Coach once say before, the day when RP get champion, is when everybody comes for training and be punctual. I was one of the people, that Vincent has point out, which I saw Coach nodding his head. Vincent say I always never come for training, but whenever there's friendly match, Coach will choose me to play, even for ISIBL now. Thinking back, the day when I went for RP selection, I was selected. But after that, I didn't go for any training. Untill Hong Yuan asked me to go for training, and I went. The first training I went, without knowing much people, and next day they are having friendly match against NYP. Coach choose me to play. A few times, I skipped training again, and I went back for training. Coach choose me to play a friendly match against Simei ITE. I don't know why Coach will choose me all the time, maybe it's because of the Youth Cup last time, I know he saw me playing before. During the talk, we even heard of how other schools make fun of RP, saying we can't do it, asked us to go home and don't play basketball. What the hell is this!? Our next very important tournament will be POL-ITE game, I really want to play for RP, so next few weeks, I will go for all training, I won't let Coach to be disappointed in me again. Although we are given warning that everyday there might be training, I will give up all my time for basketball. After the talk, the bus is here. We hired a bus to the girls' team Chalet at Changi Aloha for BBQ. Stayed overnight at there, play Big 2 and Blackjack, win some money. It was really fun with RP basketball team, you can see boy and girl team have such wonderful bonding. We even went for an outing at late night, to Changi Village to see "ah gua". So funny, alot of interesting things happened yesterday. Bought liquor back and play cards game again. Oh ya, during BBQ, there this flying cockroach flying around, when it landed, we stepped it to death and burn it. You know normally flying cockroaches are female pregnant cockroaches , even if you stepped or use any method to kill it. The baby inside the dead cockroach will still be born out. So the only way is to burn it.  Hehe, we waited untill the time is up and we went to see sun raise. We waited at the beach, but we can't see any sun!!! But still, we sit down there and chit chat, enjoying the sea breeze untill it started to drizzle. Pictures of the sea when the sun had just raised.   Now back home blogging, I only sleep for 1 hour after the sun raise. Now I really have to concentrate on basketball. I want to get into the POL-ITE team represent RP. Selection will be next friday, school is reopening on next thursday, then it will be a busy month. Monday, we have training and after that in the evening, there will be ISIBL, against Raffles Insituition. Have to train hard! |
